Jennifer started Belle & Bows in 2013 after spending several years learning the different aspects of the wedding industry. Learning from one of Kansas City's most notable wedding coordinators, as well as spending time working for a wedding gown designer, has given Jennifer a unique perspective on the planning process and has taught her to draw inspiration from a variety of places. 

When Jennifer is not "on the job" she spends time with her husband, Jon and their three spunky kiddos Anderson (7), William (5) and Emmaline (3). Obviously chaos is nothing new in her world!

Jennifer specializes in Full Service Planning, as well as Partial Wedding Planning. 

Libby Maughan

Partner & Lead Wedding Coordinator

Born and raised in Kansas City, Libby is a proud partner and Lead Wedding Coordinator for Belle and Bows. She has gained over seven years of planning experience with Belle and Bows while also learning the different aspects of the wedding industry such as photography, catering, and floral & design throughout her event planning career.

Creativity, detailed organization, and enthusiasm are the perfect qualities that Libby brings to planning such special events. Libby has extensive experience in event management, logistics and overall running the show!

Outside of planning events, Libby loves to attend Sporting Kansas City games and spend quality time with her husband, Trey and their new baby boy, Drew!

Daigen Batman

Assistant Wedding Coordinator

Human Resources Professional by week, Assistant Wedding Coordinator by weekend. Raised in small town Tonganoxie, KS. Having 4+ years of experience with B&B and loving every minute of being part of the love, the planning and the intimacy of each couple & family!

Outside of wedding coordinating & HR work, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family & two pugs! You can find me either buried in a good book, on a patio with friends or rummaging through the aisles of Target.

Emily Strifler

Wedding Coordinator Assistant

Emily joined the Belle and Bows team in 2022 as a Wedding Coordinator Assistant. She has 6 years of previous experience between specialty event planning and day of wedding coordination and really enjoys helping couples make their day unique, memorable and stress free. In addition to working with the Belle and Bows team Emily works as a Store Manager for a local bookstore.

Outside of managing the bookstore and helping with weddings she spends a lot of time in the kitchen cooking up a storm and baking all sorts of sweet treats for friends and family and going on adventures and road trips with her husband, Nathaniel, and their precious princess of a dog, Desi.
